Flava Friday! Get ready to be hypnotized!

It’s the return of Flava Friday, and this one is truly stunning! This hypnotically beautiful clone is flava var. atropurpurea MK F27a! The location data given is Blackwater River State Forest, Florida. MK refers to Mike King, the owner of Shropshire Carnivores in the UK, who is most likely the original owner and propagator.

Look at this beautiful pitcher development! I love seeing how the color fills in!

I’ve seen this clone referred to as “all-red form”, but haven’t seen it go that dark yet. It’s possible it just needs more time to color up. I’ll be keeping an eye on it all season! I mean really, how could I not?

This clone was also featured in last Monday’s ย post of abstract Sarracenia shots. Look closer at these beautiful veins and get sucked into the vortex!
