The most EPIC carnivorous-birthday-summer giveaway EVER!

Happy summer, everyone! This is my favorite season because 1) I love the heat. California girl 100%! 2) everything is growing awesomely and 3) the summer solstice (June 21) falls on my birthday! I turned 21 for the sixth time (haha) last Sunday and have been having an amazing week being spoiled by family and friends.

But I truly love giving more than receiving, so it’s time for a long-overdue GIVEAWAY! This is the biggest giveaway I’ve done so far! Let’s dive into it!

All of this can be yours…

And I maybe, probably will throw some extra mystery things in the box, like recently harvested Drosera seeds! I’m not sure what exactly, so be prepared for extra surprises if you win!

Of course, I do have to mention some rules (womp womp). Please read the following carefully!

1. Because I am shipping a live plant, this giveaway is open to US residents only.  I’m sorry, non-Americans! Rest assured, I will balance this out with an internationally open giveaway in the future!

2. This giveaway is open from now through July 1. Giveaway closes July 2nd at midnight PST.

Doing it for the mug. 🙂 Not gonna lie, will probably be drinking apple juice or milk out of it… I promise I’m not a child.

  5. Kat says:

Honestly, the first thing I’d drink out of the mug would probably be coffee the morning after it arrived. Though I do use mugs for a lot of things, not just coffee: soup, ice cream, etc. They’re more fun than bowls.

  6. Tim says:

That’s a great book, I’d love to have a personal copy. As for that beautiful mug, It’d probably be orange juice.

  7. My says:

Happy birthday! Beautiful photos of the prizes and great book review! Your artwork are so nice. Did you go to art school?

  8. Mitch says:

Happy birthday, mine is in June as well. I’m happy for the chance to drink some water out of that mug but I have to admit I’m way more excited about the book.

    • Maria says:

Thanks, Mitch! Happy birthday to you as well! And the book is excellent, I’m sure you’ll love it!

Awesome giveaway, Maria! Crossing my fingers for that gorgeous mug, it would make morning tea that much more enjoyable. Good luck, everyone! 😀

Hello from /r/savagegarden! This is awesome! Thanks for doing a giveaway. As for what I’d drink first, probably a nice tea. 🙂

    • Maria says:

Hi Elin! Thank you for entering, fellow savage-gardening redditor! Apparently lots of carnivore growers are also tea drinkers!

  11. Kristine says:

The mug is epically awesome- I would christen it in with a nice cup of coffee (possibly spiked with some Bailey’\s).

  12. Catherine says:

If I won the giveway, I would drink a cool glass of whiskey ginger thyme lemonade made especially for that mug. It’s too pretty not to drink something fancy!

  13. geoffrey says:

Great giveaway. Thank you so much for your incredible blog! I’ll take my morning coffee in cephalotus if you please. Cheers!

  14. April L says:

What a great giveaway. If I win the mug; I will not be drinking out of it, since you already drill a hole in it.

    • Maria says:

Thanks for entering, April! To be clear, I did not drill a hole in the Cephalotus mug! It’s still very drink out-able! I drilled a hole in a container that the Venus flytrap is in. 🙂

  15. victoria says:

How kind of you to give all these lovely things away! If I win, the first drink I’ll enjoy would be a nice piping hot espresso! Thanks for your consideration.

    • Maria says:

Thanks for entering, Victoria! I really do love to give. 🙂 Mmmm, that would be a big mug of espresso!

  16. hcarlton says:

That book alone is interesting enough to enter for, I’ve heard good reviews about it, but I also really like that mug! If I win, the first thing in it will probably be raspberry zinger tea….

    • Maria says:

Yes, it’s a great book! But I can’t help but over-deliver. 😉 Thanks for entering, Hawken!

  17. Luis says:

Great giveaway Maria! I will make sure to drink some chocolate mint tea in that mug if I win this giveaway!

  18. Molly says:

The first drink I’ll have out of my new Cephalotus mug if I win will be a nice hot cup of black coffee. I only drink my coffee black to match my soul. 😛

  19. Molly H says:

The first drink I am going to have out of my new Cephalotus mug if I win, won’t actually be a drink, but instead I’ll make a mug cake to celebrate! 🙂

  20. Nicole says:

Oh man, I’ve been eyeing your mugs for a while now. You can never have too many mugs for your morning coffee, right? Thanks for having this giveaway!

  21. Angela Holman says:

What is the first drink I will drink out of the coffee mug if I get it? Hm… Some nice, cold, sweet tea.

  22. Brandon says:

I think I’d have to have a nice cup of tea from my cup. It would have to be cold, though, because it’s been way too hot where I live.

  23. David F says:

Hey Maria, I have to say that I really enjoyed the personalized letter you sent out, and I love your website. Thanks for the opportunity!

  24. Andrea says:

Look at that VFT! And in such a cool pot! I have a few other VFTs from you that are looking pretty good! One of them caught a decent sized fly the other day!

    • Maria says:

Thanks, Abra! Miso soup totally counts! Sounds like an excellent use for the cup, actually!
